The charges below are Green Lane Burial Field’s published prices for 2025/2026. Funeral director, coffin, celebrant and other third-party costs are separate.

03 — Cremated remains
Burial of ashes
Cremated remains may be buried in the designated ashes area. Any container used must be fully biodegradable so the field can retain its natural character.
04 — Before arranging
What to keep in mind
Current availability
Burial plots are chosen when they are needed. Green Lane no longer accepts reservations in advance, helping preserve space for families who require it in the coming years.
Biodegradable materials
Coffins and shrouds must be completely biodegradable, without plastic, metal or woodchip fittings that will not break down naturally.
Natural memorials
Graves return naturally to the meadow. Conventional headstones, artificial flowers and permanent ornaments are not used. Natural flowers are welcome.
Additional costs
Funeral director services, a coffin or shroud, celebrant fees, flowers and other personal arrangements are not included in the burial field charges.
